The Auditor’s office is responsible for all fiscal administration including revenue projections and assisting the Mayor’s and City Council in the preparation and administration of the City’s operating budget, capital outlay and debt management.

The Auditor’s Office is also responsible for the following:

  • Budgeting, including Revenue Projections

  • Financial reporting
  • Preparation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR)

• Accounts Payable
  • Check Processing
  • Vendor Maintenance

• Fixed Assets

• Payroll

• Pension Processing

• Personnel Record Maintenance

• Purchasing Control

• Contract Control

• Works with the Treasure on Cash Flow matters

• Management Information Services (MIS)

• Monitors Life Insurance program

• Processes and monitors all utility payments
