Personal Life
Tony Dimacchia is a lifelong resident of Lorain and the father of four beautiful children, Helayna, Gabriella, Anthony and Stella Rose. He is married to Morgan Dimacchia (Mathewson) of Lorain. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Tiffin University in 1997 and continued his education at Bowling Green State University where he received Masters Degrees in both Curriculum and Instruction and Education Administration. He also has completed course work from Ashland University for a teaching certification in History. Dimacchia worked for Lorain City Schools for several years teaching middle school computer science. He currently teaches at Lorain County Community College and works as the Director of Operations of Boys and Girls Clubs of Lorain County for the past 11 years. He started serving the community in 2008 and has completed his third consecutive 4-year term on the Lorain Board of Education until he was elected in May 2019 for Lorain City Council At Large and appointed to City Council on June 25 to fill a vacant seat. He has also been a high school basketball and soccer coach in Lorain County for the past 22 years.
