Terri Soto is a graduate of Lorain County Community College. She became Treasurer of the City of Lorain in January 2016. Previously, she served as Assistant Tax Administrator. She has received five years of Certificate of Completion from the Center for Public Investment Management (CPIM) and continues her certification yearly and also has 14 years of service competency with the Income Tax Department.
She served as Vice President of the Ohio Association of Tax Administrators (OATA) from 2018-2020 as well as Secretary of Ohio Association of Public Treasurers (OAPT) from 2019-2020. She is now an active member of both associations.
Terri is currently the Treasurer for the Lorain Mexican American Citizens Club and helps with her church, Sacred Heart Chapel, in the Finance Ministry as a counter.
Terri shows her love for the city of Lorain by consistently answering the call and entering civic and social endeavors in the community.
